I feel like a Mother Hen so often! Thanks for sharing this great photo.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's a wonderful photo. However did you manage it?
ReplyDeleteAwesome picture!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great shot! Is that why they are called "peeps"? Because they're barely peeping out from under Mom?
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you think this is as cute as I do. She actually has 4 more hidden under her.
ReplyDeleteJanie,
I saw them when I went to feed them and made one of the kids run for the camera. Oh the things I do for my blog! :)
Linda,
And yes that may be why they are called "peeps" and because they go around all day "peep peep peep"
I'll agree with the "awwwww", lol. Is she an Isa Brown? I had some of that breed but don't anymore, though I still have chickens. I've got two bantam hens sitting on nests, so am waiting... and waiting... and (haha)
ReplyDeleteI've never heard chicks called "peeps" before... hhhmmmm.
Chickens don't make good doggy toys.
ReplyDeleteCome visit, bring doggy treats.
Fabulous shot! Love that mother hen instinct.
ReplyDeleteAww! I see cute little heads!
ReplyDeleteVery sweet. I love baby chicks.
ReplyDeleteOMG!! I love hens and baby chicks and roosters too:-). Great photo!

ReplyDeleteI want some Rhode hens! I have the rooster but have game hens. I have babies today that just hatched out.
