A Wigwam

On our field trip last week, the actors camped out as people would in the late 1800's. The Native Americans had a Wigwam and a Tipi. It was very interesting!

  2. I am guessing that the originals would have been skins, but I think this was more of a canvas type material.

We've been talking about building a play house or tree house, now I am thinking a wigwam would be the best thing!

that may well be. This was the last stop of our field trip and I wasn't able to ask about the building or hear much of what was being discussed. By then I was chasing (literally) the three little ones who were getting restless.
