Lydia: Mommy, why is Christmas Day so short?
Me: It really isn't short honey. It is the same as every other day.
Lydia: No, it is short! We just played a little and it got nighter and nighter and nighter and nighter, and then it was bed time!

ReplyDeleteMaybe it had something to do with spending most of the day in your PJs? (Which, by the way, I thought sounded like so much fun. Especially since most Christmases, I'm preparing a big meal for company and am exhausted by the end of the day.)
