Why is it that no matter how late my kids stay up, they always get up at the crack of dawn
EXCEPT
The day that we have somewhere to be and need to leave early?

Trust me. It's not just yours. Mine will be up at dawn all weekend, and then want to sleep in on Monday morning when they have to catch the bus.
ReplyDeleteIrritating isn't it?
Mine are the same way. They've been known to be put in the car still in pjs. My odd foible in that regard is that on days that I have to get up early, i can't sleep for fear I'll oversleep. We are in deep trouble when they start school.
ReplyDeleteHello. I'm glad you're still around.
ReplyDeleteKIA is not an early riser at all (8:30ish), but she won't go to sleep until around 10:00 sometimes later. What a party animal.
You can't get Brandon out of bed on a school day for nothing. Then come Saturday when he is allowed to play his video games, he is the first one up!
